The year 2023 has ended
& 2024 has begun. But never in my entire lifetime have I felt so
pessimistic about an upcoming New Year. Most of us very well know, understand
& realize that 2023 was not a great year like 2013 or 2003. The world was
facing insurmountable challenges like never before. We had all kinds of
happenings in 2023 that resonated with end time bible prophecy events mentioned
in the Holy Bible. And hence would be very anxious about what 2024 could bring
in our lives.
But to understand what is in store for the world in
2024, we need to know certain profound prophetic developments that happened in
2023. Most events that happened in 2023 are mostly huge developments that are
going to very surely increase in intensity in 2024 & beyond leading this
world to the bible prophesied 7-year tribulation. There are several of them,
but I have listed below just 5 huge prophetic events or developments that shook
the entire world in 2023.
1. Israel begins to become
an international burdensome stone.
The bible says in Zech
12:3, ‘And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for
all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though
all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.’
The book of Zechariah was written some 2500 years ago in (520–518
BC). But this verse is becoming true today.
Israel was attacked by Hamas on 07th Oct 2023. Ever since, we see
Israel & the Jews have suddenly come to the attention of the whole world.
There is a sudden & meteoric rise in Anti-Semitism throughout the whole
world, with most countries like Russia, China, Iran, etc. & even the U.N.
blaming Israel for the attacks, instead of blaming Hamas or Iran. Yes, indeed
Israel had begun to become an international burdenstone in 2023. That brings me
to the next prophetic development of 2023.
2.
There is an increased mobilization among the world leaders to divide the land
of Israel.
To begin with, ever since
Israel got its independence in May 2, 1948, Israel conquered more surrounding
land every time they fought a war. But still, each time they had to give away
some land to buy peace. And today there is a global outcry to divide the land
of Israel into 2, or bring about a two-state solution for both Israel and
Palestine. Joel 3: 1-3 states, ‘For behold, in
those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and
Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of
Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgement with them there, on behalf of my
people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations
and have divided up my land,…’
The Bible very clearly
states that any attempt to divide the land of Israel is in an end time
prophetic development, which would instantly kick start the horrific 7-year
tribulation which would impact every man, woman & child on earth. And 2023
was the year, when there was an ever increasing global outcry for a two state
solution.
3. Israel longing for peace
& desperately awaiting a Savior or (Messiah).
All of us know that after
coming out of Hitler’s Holocaust, & ever since the formation of Israel as a
nation in 1948, Israel has still been having 75 years of conflict though they
have survived through it. Now, with the surmounting problems & pressure
from every side, they are very soon anticipating a Savior or (Messiah) to
deliver them from all their woes.
The bible says that a false
Messiah would come at such a time. He would overwhelm them in their efforts for
peace & security. He would very kindly coerce Israel into accepting the 7
year peace covenant of peace & security. In fact, he would most surely be
responsible for the rebuilding of the 3rd Israeli Temple on the
Temple Mount & the commencement of the daily Jewish sacrifices. Israel
& the whole world would marvel at his diplomatic brilliance, without
realizing that the 7-year covenant of peace & security would soon turn out
to be the most horrific 7-year tribulation, raining absolute destruction &
devastation on Israel & the whole world.
4. Russia, Iran, Turkey,
Libya, Ethiopia, etc. are uniting to build an alliance to invade & spoil Israel in the very near future.
The Holy Bible in entire
chapters of Ezekiel 38 & 39 has prophesied some 2600 years ago, an end time
Middle East war headed by Russia, which would attempt an Israeli invasion. In
this war, God would miraculously defeat the invading forces, which would pave
the way for the rise of the Roman Antichrist/ or global dictator.
The year 2023 saw an ever-increasing proximity of Russia, Iran, Turkey, Libya, Ethiopia, etc. &
multiple other smaller fronts united on the sole goal of attacking or invading
Israel. Never in the past have these nations been in such an alliance. So, this event could be closer than most of us can even
imagine, maybe even in the next few years.
5. The year 2023 saw a
massive increase in wars & rumors of wars.
The Holy Bible says in Matthew
24:6, of the end times, ‘And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars’. The
year 2023 saw at least 40 wars or serious
conflicts, killing many thousands & displacing millions. The reasons for
the outbreak of conflict range from territorial disputes to regional tensions,
to corruption and dwindling resources due to climate change. The worst
conflicts were happening in Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, Ukraine, Afghanistan,
Lebanon, Yemen, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Syria, Armenia, Azerbaijani, etc. Then we
had certain dangerous flashpoints around the South China Sea, Russia’s borders
with NATO countries. So, the year 2023 saw an increase in wars & also
massive increase in deaths due to wars. Remember, all these wars continue to
escalate in the current year 2024, killing many thousands.
There are several other profound prophetic developments that have
occurred in 2023 like economic crises, poverty, job crises, wars, civil unrest,
mental illnesses, pandemic, natural calamities, lawlessness, etc. to name just
a few, but I am not elaborating on that in this post, for want of time &
space. So, 2023 was a year of huge prophetic progression or developments. And
surely these prophetic indicators or signs are going to increase in intensity
in the year 2024 & beyond leading to the bible prophesied 7-year
tribulation.
So, dear reader, the time to escape is short. If you want to
escape the 7-year tribulation just ahead of us, you have to believe in the Lord
Jesus Christ & be saved. 2000 years ago, God sent his son, the Lord Jesus
Christ to save mankind from their sins. All of us are sinners and need
salvation & redemption. All the traditions & rituals of our ancestors
would not save us. Only the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ can cleanse
us from our sins & give us eternal life.
So, let us believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved before it’s too late & time runs out. We can surely escape the 7-year tribulation via the rapture of the church. Those who are left behind would have to endure the 7-year horrific tribulation under the world’s most ruthless dictator, the Roman Antichrist. The Bible says in 1 John 1:9, ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’
